The HECAR Foundation and SNK- Somaya & Kalappa Consultants curated the Women in Design Exhibition inaugurated on the 7th January 2020 at the Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan, Mumbai.
Woven Fabrics
Textile Installation by Vinay Narkar Designs is a collaboration with local women craftsmen from Telangana to bring five woven fabrics as an installation in the center of the exhibition space. The textile installation depicts Architectural designs and forms woven in silk, using the three-shuttle technique.
Seeing Time: Clocks of Bombay
Photographer Chirodeep Chaudhuri showcased Mumbai’s Architecture, culture and history through its clock- Over the last 23 years, Chirodeep Chaudhari has found 81 public clocks across Mumbai.

Exhibition was an attempt to look at women Architects in Germany as a whole, to study their history and present-day situations, their achievements, everyday reality and the struggle to establish themselves.
